Foreign Languages (KORN1-CE)

In this beginner’s course, gain an introduction to Korean pronunciation, alphabet, basic vocabulary, and grammar. By the end of the semester, be able to engage in basic conversations in which you describe daily activities, talk about yourself, and discuss events in the present tense.

<p>This continuation of <i>Korean I </i>is designed for those who have basic knowledge of the Korean language. The objective of the course is to enhance your communicative skills in listening, speaking, reading, and writing with more complex structures in Korean. You are expected to be able to command a lengthy narrative discourse on daily life, emotions, family, vacation plans, hobbies, and other topics. Deferential ending forms and polite endings are introduced. </p>
