Gain a basic understanding of Linux system administration and hands-on experience working in Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5. Learn to install and administer Linux. Build familiarity with networking, programming, services, security, hardware and software setup and maintenance, the UNIX way of computing, and the X Window environment. This course prepares students for the Red Hat Certified Technician certification and is intended for IT professionals with some command-line experience in Linux or UNIX, who wish to enhance their skills by learning system administration.

IHTR1-CE 9141  Introduction to Excel 2010 Macros  (0 Credits)  
<font face="Arial"><br><br></font><p align="left"><font face="Arial">Macros are a powerful tool for automating repetitive tasks in Excel. </font><i><font face="Arial">Excel 2010: Introducing Macros </font></i><font face="Arial">teaches when and how to use macros. Students start by recording a simple set of actions and will learn to assign them to shortcuts. Building on the simple recorded macros, participants will learn how to modify the code to make the macro more flexible and to incorporate decision making and looping commands that allow the macro to repeat, as needed, based on the results in the cells. Students will be introduced to Visual Basic in order to modify and enhance recorded macros and broaden their functionality and will practice using the Visual Basic debugger to step through and debug macros.</font></p>
