This course lays the foundations for risk management. The basic concepts and models are presented to the participants. Participants will be introduced to theoretical framework of financial risk management, operational risk management and global political risk factors. In addition to examining the importance of risk analytical process and procedure, participants will analyze market implied risk levels.

This course presents more advanced issues in risk management. Participants will be introduced to statistical models of normal distribution and non-normal distribution. Topics include key aspects of operational risk due diligence, hedge fund risk management, cybersecurity, and financial technology (FinTech) risk management development.
