ARTT-NE 1002 High School Summer Art Intensive: Curating Fashion (0 Credits)

This two-week summer program introduces high school students to the creative
process of staging a fashion exhibition. Students will be asked to do research in fashion history, engage in close examination of objects, design an exhibition space, and narrate an original story of fashion for a public audience. In-studio workshops will be complemented by visits from guest speakers–historians, curators, and exhibition designers–and class visits to museums across the New York City region.

ARTT-NE 2000 Summer Studio Residency (0 Credits)
Summer Studio Residency provides a genuinely immersive studio experience
for the recent BFA graduate who is dedicated to studio time, theoretical
concerns, and establishing a professional practice for a career in art.
Through the semi-private studio atmosphere, residents will be expected to
maintain a rigorous practice, utilizing this time to further develop
critical ideas through their studio. Participants should anticipate meeting
weekly with visiting artists and scholars to discuss their ideas and work.
