Preclinical Skills (PCL07-DN)

This introductory course introduces second-year students to the broad scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery and provides foundational knowledge related to the study of oral surgery, pain, and anxiety control. Additionally, students complete simulated competency exercises related to medical emergency management in the dental practice setting and skills in administration of local anesthesia. This course is open only to students in the Doctor of Dental Surgery program. Core curriculum.
