The Academic Year (DDS and Advanced Education Programs Only)
The academic year runs from July 1 - June 30 each year and is divided into two semesters, which run from July - December and January - June.
The exact start and end dates for the semesters are published each year in the academic calendar, which is posted on the NYU Global Home site. The schedule for any academic year is determined by the faculty, approved by the EMC, and announced in the academic calendar. The schedule varies for each level of training (D1 - D4). Students must abide by the specific semester and course start/end dates and the dates of scheduled breaks for their level of training.
