Preclinical Skills (PCL04-DN)

This course for third year dental students consists of a series of lectures on advanced endodontic topics, which build upon the dental student’s knowledge from the basic sciences, and the second year Multidisciplinary Experience in Patient Care course (CLS03-DN 2511). The information presented will enable the student to examine, assess, diagnose, and appropriately treat pulpal and periapical disease. Evaluation of outcomes in terms of prognosis, possible complications and the restorative phase of treatment will be stressed. This course is open only to students in the Doctor of Dental Surgery program. Core curriculum.
