Program Description
The NYU SPS DAUS Associate Degree in Business delivers a flexible program that provides you with foundational knowledge in business. The program’s highly practical courses are taught by business practitioners who understand the dynamic trends in industry. With a curriculum designed for career advancement across the business industry, this two-year degree program will prepare students for job prospects via a solid foundation in business skills, business administration, business administration, interpersonal communication, management theories, and business principles.
Division of Applied Undergraduate Studies (DAUS) Admissions
Admission to undergraduate programs in the NYU School of Professional Studies Division of Applied Undergraduate Studies (DAUS) requires completion of a high school diploma or GED. Program Requirements
The program requires the completion of 60 credits, comprised of a required set of core curriculum/liberal arts courses (20 credits), required program core (20 credits), and general electives (20 credits).

Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of the program, graduates will:

Program Policies
Core Curriculum/Liberal Arts Core: Students are required to complete five courses from the liberal arts core, one from each content area. (5 courses, 20 credits) The requirement may be satisfied by the courses included in the course list, or by other pre-approved courses that match the requirements and learning outcomes of each liberal arts category.
General Electives: Students have the flexibility to choose the general electives for their degree program as long as they are taken within the SPS Division of Applied Undergraduate Studies. The courses provided in the course list are a sample of elective courses that may be of interest to students in the AAS in Business program.
