Program Description

In this 16-credit minor, students explore the role of nutrition in healthy living through coursework in food science, human physiology, diet assessment, and electives.

To declare a minor in Nutrition, students must meet with an academic advisor to enroll in restricted courses and discuss course selection.

Program Policies

• College of Arts & Science students may take BIOL-UA 12 Principles of Biology II in place of NUTR-UE 1068 Introduction to Human Physiology.
• Nursing students may take NURSE-UN 70 Anatomy & Physiology  in place of NUTR-UE 1068 Introduction to Human Physiology.

Courses Taken Pass/Fail

Courses taken with the Pass/Fail grade option and with grades below "C" will not count for the minor.
