The Vertically Integrated Projects I-IV courses are designed to allow select students to participate in ongoing research projects within student teams, under the direction of faculty from within Tandon, and other schools of NYU. These courses are open to students from the sophomore to senior years, and students must apply to engage in a specific project in a given semester. The Vertically Integrated Projects courses are designed to allow select students to participate in ongoing research, innovation, design, and entrepreneurial projects within student teams, under the direction of faculty from within Tandon, and other schools of NYU. This is the zero-credit version of the course. These courses are open to students from the first to senior years, and students must apply to engage in a specific project in a given semester. Decisions on acceptance will be made by the faculty advisors for the project, in consultation with the Director of the VIP Program. Students must commit to at least three semesters of participation in VIP, either enrolling in VIP-UY 300X or VIP-UY 3000.
