The Master of Science in Project Management offers a practical business perspective needed by project managers. It provides a comprehensive, rigorous educational experience that focuses on leading practices, principles, and methodologies associated with the project management science. Admissions
Admission to master’s programs at the NYU School of Professional Studies requires the completion of a U.S. bachelor's degree or its international equivalent. Program Requirements
The program requires the completion of 36 credits, comprised of the following:
Students may select from any of the courses listed in this specialization category, including the Internship course. Additionally, students may request departmental approval for a course offered within other graduate programs within the Division of Programs in Business, or the Real World Course (RWLD1-GC 3050).

Students must complete a minimum of 18 credits and have a minimum GPA of 3.0 to be eligible to apply for the internship course (MSPM1-GC 3910).
Upon successful completion of the program, graduates will:
Determine the alignment of the framework of structured project management, life cycle, knowledge domains, and constraints, with its selected methodology.
Assess the scope of a project to determine the essential components of the project plan.
Demonstrate effective management and leadership skills in project initiative.
Prepare resources and communications management plans for projects, addressing diversity and inclusion, ethical considerations, and overall impact of projects.
Utilize strategic planning tools to develop an enterprise project portfolio business case.
Develop subsidiary plans for each project management knowledge domain.
