The Master of Science in Entrepreneurship and Management at NYU SPS is a 30-credit, applied-skills degree designed for aspiring founders and business owners. The program focuses on developing the tactical skills needed to successfully launch and grow ventures and offers three specialization tracks: Family Business, Social Entrepreneurship, and Entrepreneurial Leadership. In alignment with the SPS mission of industry collaboration and broad access, the program supports the needs of small business owners and entrepreneurs seeking practical, real-world learning.
The degree is offered both in person and online, with flexible course formats. Students graduate with three key outcomes: a ready-to-launch business or non-profit organization (or one developed during the program), the knowledge and tools to sustain and expand their venture or family business, and a strong network of fellow business owners and mentors, including opportunities for collaboration across NYU’s global campuses.
Admissions
Admission to master’s programs at the NYU School of Professional Studies requires the completion of a U.S. bachelor's degree or its international equivalent. Elective Courses: Students select 9 credits from the courses shown, which can be a combination of 3 or 1.5 credit offerings. Students may also select from 3 or 1.5 credit NYU graduate courses (with review from the academic department for appropriate fit). Students will be able to specialize their program by selecting the specified courses from the optional specializations outlined below (2 courses, 6 credits).
