Program Description

The Certificate in Translational Research Program provides foundational training in clinical and translational research methods to healthcare professionals.

Applicants are expected to have completed a masters or doctoral degree, or have experience in or plans to participate in a relevant field of research. The program is open to NYU Langone–affiliated healthcare professionals, including dental, medical, and nursing school postdoctoral trainees and faculty, members of H+H affiliates of the NYU Clinical and Translational Science Institute, and individuals from other institutions affiliated with the Clinical and Translational Science Awards of the National Institutes of Health (NIH).

As part of this nine-credit certificate program, you complete two required courses—Clinical Research Methods and Introduction to Biostatistical Analysis—and select an elective from the translational research concentration in our MS in Clinical Investigation. When you complete the program, you receive a New York State–approved Certificate in Translational Research.
