CELLB-MD 4010 Clinical Anatomy Dissection (2 Credits)

This elective is designed for medicals student who wish to review gross anatomy through a clinical lens before entering a residency. Students complete an in depth review of an area of gross anatomy using specimens from the anatomical museum, the model collection and cadaveric specimens. Students select a region of interest and with instructor approval devise an independent dissection plan. Each student presents their findings during oral presentation followed by a group discussion.

CELLB-MD 242104 Anatomy Lab Teaching Assistantship: Extremities (2 Credits)

This is a 2-week elective that seeks to introduce the student to medical education in the context of reviewing clinically-relevant anatomy and supporting first year medical students in the anatomy lab. The student will be expected to gain a broad understanding of how to create and facilitate educational sessions. Students will gain this experience through reviewing anatomy lectures, attending anatomy labs and fielding MS1 questions, and drafting an innovative and clinically-focused lab station considering resources, time, and learning objectives.
