06/29/2020 Stephanie Hutchins (NYSED-OCUE) replies to proposal with questions about existing offerings. NYU website lists MA Human Skeletal Biology as a program, but this is not a registered program.
06/30/2020 Alexandra Forrester (NYU-OAPRA) responds that this is an error and that the listed MA Human Skeletal Biology is actually an MA Anthropology with a focus on students interested in Human Skeletal Biology, with recommended coursework in Human Skeletal Biology.
07/01/2020 Stephanie Hutchins requests confirmation that the MA Anthropology program will maintain the Human Skeletal Biology track once the new MS is registered.
07/13/2020 Alex Forrester responds that no formal curriculum for HSB existed in the MA Anthropology and none will going forward, however, students could still take recommended course work in the MA
07/14/2020 Stephanie Hutchins responds with detailed NYSED concerns that it is not clear whether the current registration (MA Anthroplogy) is accurately reflected as evidence from online resources indicates that there is a formal HSB track that is the primary curriculum. This is a program registration issue. Also unclear about what relationship will be between MS and MA if MS is registered. Requests clarifications on what's going on in online materials, requests additional MA registration if current registration does not accurately reflect how the program is operating.
