CK notifies SPS of proposal assignment: Hi Ionelee, I'm writing to let you know this change proposal has entered our proposal review queue and has been assigned to me to review. The estimated timeline for us to complete our initial review and send you any feedback on the proposal is approximately 5 weeks - feedback shared by August 8. 2025. It appears that you modeled this and the related AAS proposal on the recently approved BS Leadership and Management proposal, so we anticipate the OAPRA review process will be relatively simple and you may receive feedback sooner. Warmly, Carina |

CK sends proposal feedback to SPS: Dear Colleagues, Thank you for your patience as we reviewed the submitted proposal materials. Overall, this proposal is in good shape and we should be able to send this on to NYSED relatively soon, but we have some brief feedback on the proposal that needs to be addressed before moving forward with NYSED submission. Please note that we reviewed this proposal alongside the related BS change proposal, so some of the feedback on each of these proposals may be duplicative. See below for a summary of our feedback on the proposal materials and see attached documents for specific in-line comments, suggested revisions, and clarifying questions (make sure to view "all markup" to see all revisions). When sending us your updated proposal materials, please make sure to accept or reject our suggested revisions as appropriate, and make sure all comments are addressed (either by making the suggested revision that appears in the comment, or responding to the comment, if appropriate). Summary of proposal feedback: Change Narrative: We added the updated program goals/learning outcomes to this section from the assessment plan. We also made some revisions to the section on adding General Electives for clarity and further grounding the change in academic rationale. Course Title Consistency: There are a number of courses in the Curricular Requirements Form that appear to be shortened versions of titles as they appear elsewhere in the proposal materials. In the shortened titles, the portion after the colon does not appear. If these are shortened in that Form for space purposes, you do not need to update them to the full title. However, if they (or some of them) are shortened because they are topics courses that will change regularly, please let us know, as we may need to take some additional action on that to ensure that we are submitting the correct curriculum to NYSED. Please let us know if you have any questions. Warmly, Carina |

Ionelee B responds to feedback, sends updated proposal: Hi Carina, Thank you for sharing this thoughtful feedback. I have accepted all of your suggestions in the attached document. For the Curricular Requirements Form, I can confirm that the course titles were shortened for the sake of brevity and legibility. These are the same courses, and I am happy to write in the full course titles if that would be helpful. Please let me know if there are any additional questions. Best, Ionelee |
