04/30/2024 TW completes review: I have completed my review. Although the change is simple, there are some confusing elements in the narrative that I have noted. Please clarify these discrepancies, as well as the issues with the syllabi, with Meyers.
05/08/2024 JS provides feedback to Meyers: Hi Sarah, I hope you've been well! I am writing to let you know that I have completed my initial review of this proposal, please see the attached program change form for suggested edits/clarifying questions. Overall, this is in good shape! The bulk of our feedback is related to impact on current students, and notification of current students re: the proposed changes. In addition, the syllabus for NURSE-GN 2031 (attached) appears to be missing language on credit integrity/instructional time. It contains the following language: "Zoom Lecture: Weekly online (both asynchronous & synchronous as per course outline)." However, without details on how long students engage in these activities, I am unable to confirm that instructional time is in compliance based on the credits allocated. The below examples, taken from our Syllabi Expectations Tip Sheet, illustrate what is required: Example #1: Students will meet 2x a week for 1.5 hours for 15 weeks for this 3-credit course Example #2: This 4-credit course will meet for a lecture with the instructor twice per week for 75 minutes each, for fifteen weeks. Outside of lecture, students will also participate in fifteen-50 minute weekly group discussion supervised by the course TA centered around each week's assigned readings. Please let me know if you have any questions.

06/11/2024 TW responds: he narrative doesn't fully detail how students from different cohorts will be completing the same course, with different clinical hour requirements, nor how they will track these students and hours to ensure they are meeting the course as designed for their cohort. But I am comfortable sending it to NYSED, if you recommend sending it as is.

06/21/2024 JS sends feedback to Meyers, per previous conversations with CK/TW: Hi Sarah, Thanks for your patience as we have reviewed the latest revisions to this proposal. Overall, we are in good shape! We have some remaining notes on the student impact section, please see below: Impact on Current Students: this section will require some additional detail prior to submission. NYSED will want to see that we have considered how current students (in various cohorts) will move through the program once we start to roll out the new curriculum and that we can confirm that and how we will support those students in completing their curriculum requirements. For example: the proposal as written does not fully detail how students from different cohorts will be completing the same course, with different clinical hour requirements; nor how Meyers will track these students and hours to ensure they are meeting the course as designed for their cohort. Please revise this section accordingly - I have attached the program change form to this email, for your revisions.
